Sarah works with local business people such as Alan Williams to help County employers.

Local campaigners Sarah Carr and Lucy Hurds are actively supporting the Federation of Small Businesses 'Keep Trade Local' Campaign and has distributed window posters and petitions to independent retailers in Hereford.

Sarah said,

"I am very pleased to be able to publicly back The Federation of Small Businesses practical 'Keep Trade Local' Campaign as it offers some very sensible ideas such as business rate relief and reinforces the message of using our local shops.

"With 50% of local retailers' turnover going back into the local community compared to just 5% from supermarkets, this alone is good reason for us to support our independent shops in their hour of need."

"I will be encouraging as many local shops as possible to sign up to the 'Keep Trade Local' campaign over the coming weeks and display a sticker in their window."
