The Tory controlled Herefordshire County Council is cutting around £8 million a year from its budget. All Tory County Councillors voted for this in February. Because of this decrease, Ross is set to lose out on funding from the County. The response from the three Ross Tory County Councillors is to get Ross Town Council to make up the short fall. So they are more and more often voting to help the County budget without considering the amount Ross residents have to pay in local Council Tax.
